During use, the MAC System tracks patient movement, orientation, and activity for healthcare providers to monitor adherence to mobility protocols and DVT prophylaxis.
Data displayed on the Controller screen empowers bedside caregivers with up to 48 hours of patient mobility metrics - which can be used to identify risk factors for hospital-acquired events such as deep vein thrombosis, pressure injury, infections, and patient falls.
